Default How much actual lift help plz?

Hey, I want to loose my leveling spacers, and get 5100's. 2 questions: 1 those who have the 5100's on highest, how much actual lift did you get? The reason I ask is I have AS 2" and BDS preload spacer which is only supposed to have 1/2" of lift, and it raised my front 3 1/2 inches. Also, could I still use my pre-load spacer with the 5100's? I want 3 inches, and I am not going to get coil overs until I can do it all top of the line. However, in the meantime, the spacers over extend my droop too much, and I had same issue with Tundra and the 5100's for whatever reason did not cause the control arm to hit at droop when a spacer I had did. Oh and I do know 3" may be not ideal for angles etc.

thanks

Ok, I'll try a different way.

Can anyone who has a truck with 5100's measure their front end and tell me how much lift they got with them on top setting? I will figure out the rest. They are going tomorrow, and I want to do it right height the 1st time.

Thanks!!

I just had mine done today and although I can't tell you the measurements, I can tell you that set at 1.5 mine is almost level! Maybe 1/2 to 3/4 rake, maybe! I'm glad that I didn't go with the highest setting! I had 3 trees go down in a storm last night, so I haven't had a chance to take any pics or measure...

Yeah I think my 2" spacer actually lifted it 2 1/2 at least. I assume its because of the eco being lighter than the v-8's. Because with the BDS pre-load spacer, it went up to 3 1/2".

I took a measurement this morning and set at 1.5 and there is between 3/4 and 1 inch difference at the wheel wells. I tried to find a completely level spot, but even a slight grade makes a difference, so I moved the truck to several different areas and they all fell between the above readings. I had a 2 1/4 rake prior to the 5100 install.

The Ford Tech did tell me that the rise of the rear fender well is greater than the front and alot of folks will level the fenders vs leveling the truck. Taking that I mind, I used an app called handi level and measured the angle of the parking lot, which equaled .4 degrees and measured the truck using the bed rail, which equaled 1.6 degrees. So the rake is 1.2 degrees downward toward the front. Hope this all helps!

Thank you for posting this. I have the exact same truck (white) and getting my 5100's (front & Back) installed this week and will go with the 1.5 setting. Truck looks awesome.

If you plan on getting coils just save up, you already have spacers, just roll with that untill you have the money. Why spend the money on something you dont really want? You can get coils and rear shocks for $1000, i dont see how you can justify not just waiting.
