Default How much?

Long story short, my dad bought new rims and tires and is giving me his 20's. I want to sell my rims and tires, but don't have a clue how much I should be asking. They're the stock 18" rims and goodyear wrangler sr/a that come on a 2013 FX4. Searched and found someone selling them for $1200! Is that what I should sell em for!? Here's the pic I have.

Just for the record, you're going to need that money you get from your stockers toward new tires on the 20's. Those Pirelli tires that come on them are legitimately awful. So I'd list them at a grand or so to start.

Heh, there are so many mixed reviews on the Pirelli tires, there are actually two different kinds. Str and atr I think. I had atr and they weren't bad, no flat spots or uneven wear. I got over 40k out of mine before I ran over something that punctured a sidewall and ruined one, I expected to get around 15-20k more out of them. Granted they weren't the best in snow or mud but they were a great quiet street tire and I would run them again. I have other dedicated winter tires but I know lots of people in my area that ran them year round with no problems, no hills though, haha!

I had 3 of my ATR's replaced under warranty before I finally decided I was finished with them. Lots of issues with chunks coming out of the tread and severe road noise. My mom has the STR on her mkx and they seem ok..can't really complain about them so far. I had a crappy experience with mine, others may not. Just passing on some good ol' fashion words of warning. I am in love with the Michelins I bought for mine to replace the Pirellis.

I have 600 miles on my truck so that's what's on the wheels. The whole reason I'm wanting a price and am going to sell em is to get some REAL a/t's. probably some terra grappler's, but one place around here suggested pro comp extreme a/t's and those are really nice.

best thing to do is look on your local Craigslist and price them accordingly, or check ebay.

I would suggest that if you search ebay, use the advanced search functions and look at completed auctions. You'll see that many/most of the listings for those wheels/tires or just wheels are no sales at the higher prices.

I like the Pirelli ATR's. They are quiet on the road, get great dry traction, good traction on both wet pavement and snow. May be a little lacking in the mud. Most guys on here don't like them because they aren't knobby or cool enough. So far they have been the best original tire on any of the 10 Ford trucks I've had.
