What made you to decide on the Roush over the Whipple or Procharger?

Looking at doing a roush stage II on my 11' Harley, what kinda of mileage decrease did you guys see when doing this? Not really a big deal but just curious.

It turns the blower faster since which allows it to generate more air pressure (boost). You can only spin a blower so fast but that is based on the size of the blower.

Thanks fellas, that is some good info. Ahhh Yes! The quest for more power.
My stage 2 has so much power its stupid, compared to my last truck with just a suped up 6.2.I see on the Roush website there is a blower set up with a tune that will give 700 hp or more. Its that just with a customer tune? It appears to be the exact same set up as the stage 2 system?

I notice at least an increase of 2l/per100km on the 6.2

I've heard this before on GM LS motors as well. The way it was explained to me was if you stay out of throttle, the Supercharger will make the engine more efficient by pushing the air in instead of making the engine pull it in. I believe it may help clear the exhaust from the cylinders as well during the valve overlap. It doesn't make sense to me since you still have the parasitic loss from the supercharger but people claim it to be true.

Thanks for the replies. I have heard the same thing and have personally seen this in turbo applications that increased mileage a little. I was looking at the JDM stage two version with their tune package.

Very nice! A supercharged 6.2. Now that would be fun.

I have a couple buddies running pro chargers on their raptors and I was actually steering that way at first, they told me go with a Roush or whipper for reasons of weight and horrible low end power. So I listened and leave them at the light by at least 4 truck lengths every time haha

I know hellion makes a twin turbo kit and STS makes a single turbo kit as well. The hellion kit looks awesome and if I could afford it it would be on my truck right now.
