How to make a Stainless Works cat back system quieter
How do I get my Stainless Works chambered system quieter? Would a resonator help? I was looking at the vibrant 3.5" and Aero turbine 3.5" resonators but I'm not sure which one is better and how much they will help. Also if one makes it quieter would two make it even more quiet? Thanks

from my experience on my car, get a long enough resonator and it WILL make a huge difference.
i have 2 on mine, a 22" and the stock one, whatever length it is. no noticeable loss of power, and so much more quiet and enjoyable at low rpm...
still a blast at WOT

i got a Magnaflow because the company I was ordering headers from had them, not sure about the other brands.
The only experience I have with Aeroturbine is their 24?? muffler that was just as bad as no muffler at all !
my car is all straight pipe other than the 2 resonators and muffler, and it's surprisingly quiet at low rpms.
i'd say get whatever decent brand you can get locally, you should be fine.

I talked to magnaflow and they didn't have anything with a 3.5" for me. I'm thinking of doing the Aero as the front one and then a vibrant as the 2nd to add as a pre muffler. My wife is starting to limit my garage time cause of the baby so it probably won't get done till november some time.
