last night the dealer said mid month for delivery. called ford this morning, they say its been delivered. considering taking a ride at lunch to check their lot again, after being there monday afternoon. this truck better be worth dealing with this place!

Mine's coming to Kent, was built 8/4 and word is it'll be here on the 15th. Yours got put together on the third, so maybe the 14th, but that's a Sunday-I don't know how that affects the timeline. Black Lariat, huh? Bet it'll look nice.

Congratulations. How long have you been waiting? It's been 7+ weeks for me and the wait is agonizing.

I called Ford's Customer Service today and they gave me a delivery ETA of August 22nd. I like the 15th a whole lot better. I wonder if their date is a worst case scenario or accurate? Who gave you the date - your dealer?

Never had a black vehicle before, so I hope I like it for the long haul. Initially went with gray and almost went with blue then white. Ultimately settled on black.

What color is yours? Is your dealer Boren-Scarff (sp?)?

Yeah, but I think it's just called Scarff in Auburn. I goofed in that one post. I actually ordered it from the Auburn dealer, not Kent. I ordered the truck 7/8, and called the salesman the 29th to see if he knew when it would be here. He called me back in about 45 minutes and said it should be here the 15th. He didn't hem or haw about it either. Seemed real confident. A couple of days later I called him to get the vin. If it does come on the 15th, that's less than 6 weeks. I wonder if they save the orders up for a week or two to get a couple of trucks going to the same place. I don't know. My vin is 1FTFW1ET7BFC52152 if you want to check it out. Interesting how mine ends in 52152 and yours is 52195, pretty darn close. But your date of manufacture looks like 8/3 and mines 8/4. They must invoice them, then plan the build date around what parts they need and what parts are handy. I'd kind of like to know how they do it actually. We just about went black, but then picked red. Already have 2 white vehicles and the last pickup was blue, so we needed to go a different direction this time. Well, let's keep our fingers crossed and see what happens on the 15th.

You're probably right about the production and delivery scheduling/timing. I ordered mine three weeks earlier than you (June 15th), but our build dates are very close. I hope your dealer is right about the delivery date. My dealer is Titus-Will in Tacoma, and all they've been saying is the "middle of the month".

Red is a very attractive color on the F-150. In fact, I like several of the colors, which is unusual for me. Generally, I'm very definitive on the color I like best, and it usually comes down to a maximum of two or three choices. I had a hard time choosing this go-around, and changed my order once.

Please post again if you hear anything different on a delivery ETA, and I'll do the same. I feel pretty confident that our trucks will be shipped on the rail together.

***update*** I checked the status on the Ford ETIS site and it now indicates that it was built Aug 8th. Up until this morning it didn't have the built date. Looks like it's on track as indicated on the window sticker.
