Is there a problem in the system or do you have the worst luck ever? Either way thats rough.

Had my 2013 EB XLT since Dec 2013. It has 26K+ miles on it. New OEM battery was replaced on the day I bought the truck. No issues so far.

Unhappy

I have an '11 Lariat with the 6.2. I took delivery on 01/21/11. First battery went in on 03/07/14 at 3yrs.6wks. with 44,584 miles. Second battery went in about three weeks ago, on 01/19/16 at 1yr.11mns.1wk. with just 16,224 miles on the first replacement. So two batteries in five years.

still on my original. truck was built 9/2/14 and is about to roll 27k miles. my 2010 was built early March 2010 and the battery lasted 27 months and 48k miles.

my 2004 Mustang GT still had the original battery when I traded it off in March of 2010 with 30k on it. that one was impressive.

The Best Battery to get is to go to Batteries Plus and get a Glass Matt Battery.
And you need to know, if you ever want to change it you can't just use a standard battery charger. it needs to be one that is safe for Glass matt battery.

Bought new 11/2010 - still working fine, and I listen carefully to the starter speed at every cold-weather start.
