axle at the wronv angle?
I posted a thread previously called, "kick off the line." My 2011 super crew was/is kicking in the rear when I stepped on the gas. Sometimes a shudder, sometimes a kick. I brought it to the dealership this last weekend and had them look at it. The service rep, Jessica, (who was pretty hot), said there is a service bulletin that came out recently about the rear axle on some '11s being at the wrong angle; therefore, causing a shudder upon acceleration. She said it could be fixed with a few shims. If not, they will have to tear down the axle and find the issue. She also said it could be the springs. I am waiting for her to call when the parts come in. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Yes I have heard of the symptoms but no one owning up saying that Ford screwed up the driveline angles. There is a TSB out for the 157WB trucks for a shudder during aceleration from a stop. There are several post on here about that. Also the clunk could also be the splines on the drive shaft need to be lubed....that is a issue that has been around a while as well.

Yes, this is a problem with lots of F150s - 145" and 157" wheel bases.
For additional information on possible causes and solutions specifically to the axle wrap and wheel hop, look here:

... but also, do a search. Like TexasBill said, there's LOTS of posts about this topic.

Do you know the TSB number? I've got the same trouble on my 157" 2011.
