HOW to get the most lighting output of a new F150?
Recently I installed projector housings and installed 6000k into the low beams. I like the slight blueish look but not 100% satisfied with the distance the light actually travels.
How can I acheive the BEST lighting possible????
I was considering the following for look, but now want best lighting:
HIDs in the fog lights (6000k)
HIDs in the low beam (6000k)
HIDs in the hi-beams (6000k)
Not a big fan of adding lights such as the round PIAAs/Recons, would like to remain clean factory looking.
Please let me know of any suggestions out there...(temp bulb combinations, brand, vendor, etc)

When I said Recon lights, I ment the single round lights you would mount in two's on a bullbar or anywhere externally.
Currently I only have now 6000k HID in the low beam (outside projector) and it looks great and bright, but it just does not seem to travel far. I am leaning towards ordering a low temp bulb (4300k) so they are the brightest to my HIGH BEAM and FOG lights, leaving the 6000k in my lows till they die out then go all 4300k.
I would like to see/hear reviews on a truck with 6000k in fogs and projector and also a truck with 4300k fogs and projector.

PIAAs are awesome, they have little ones that are like 2.5 inches wide that work really good, small enough that they arent that noticeable. I have some bigger ones that I had on my 2008 sport trac that im going to be mounting on my grill guard soon. I point them out to the sides kind of in the ditches as I live in a rural area and there are lots of deer.

I dont see how they can be that much brighter than the 33 dollar pilot lights I put in mine. They use the same h3 55w bulb and cost alot more. Not trying to start an argument I am just curious. Also, how do they get a fog light and driving light out of the same light housing/bulb?

I guess Ive never seen a side by side comparison with the smaller ones so I coudlnt tell ya if they are brighter or not, and Im pretty sure they are just strictly driving or fog, however I did see once that PIAA offers a dual function light that does both, but Im not sure what size it would be.
