How far off is your mpg gauge?

Mine is always the other way. If it says I used 18 gal., I cant get more than 17.6 or so in the tank. Like this every fill up, I think it's OK though. That's still pretty good for a mathematical equation in the computer to come that close to actual fuel usage.

Mine is dead nuts accurate, but to make up for it, the Sync system is a sick joke.

I am exactly 1 mpg off of the gauge.

Truck is reading at 17.5 mpg.

FuelLog app on my Note 2 phone is at 16.5 mpg.

Both have been used for about a year now.

Mine reads high by .8 to 1 mpg all the time. I have learned to live with it.

When I check my the other day it was 3mpg off. It read 18.5 and I hand did it at 21.5

How many of you that claim it's off have changed tire size? If you change tire size w/out updating the computer, it'll be off.

Mine is bone stock and still off by .5 to .8.

I haven't decided if I trust the accuracy of the pump or truck more though. Doesn't matter much at such margins I suppose.

I think .5 to 1 mpg off is excellent. Considering in what the past mpg gauges brought as far as accuracy.
