Looks like Ford has removed your ability to see this information now. From my searches elsewere, it looks like they want you to go into the dealership to get this info for trucks older then 2016.

Haven't been on this forum for a long time, but happened across this thread. Hate to be a downer, but the date on your Monroney Label-aka Window Sticker is not the build date. Sometimes the date on Window Sticker will match the date on Dealer's Factory Invoice, but not always. The invoice date is not build date. I'll provide 3 examples from my own trucks:

2014 F150 XLT, build date-6/6/14. Window sticker date-5/29/14 (matches invoice).
2008 F150 Lar, build date-4/6/08. Window sticker date-10/28/08 (invoice 4/1/08).
1994 F250 XL, build date-3/4/94. Window sticker date-3/1/94. One reason for the
difference, some trucks are built to specific order, some built for dealers allocations.

If you are friendly with your Ford dealer, you can ask them to pull up an Oasis page,
a warranty history, or a "build sheet" aka Detailed Vehicle Specifications report. Any
of these will have the actual birthday-ie. build date, production date.

QUOTE=lewisra;5093476]The date is ETIS is not necessarily the correct build date though it could be correct. The build date is on the top(and bottom of reprinted) of your window sticker. It will be in the format similar to this 220131211. Meaning December 11, 2013. I'm not sure if the first number is always a 2 for a F-150.[/QUOTE]

Well I better correct myself. This is correct on newer window stickers. It is
as mentioned the 220 then build date backwards, ie. 220140606 7354 for
my truck built on 6/6/14. However, from what I have seen, this code is on
the "copy" window stickers you can request, but does not appear on the one
that was actually stuck in your window. (Learned something new.)

I retrieved my build date from my local dealer. I also found another way to retrieve the build date. I replaced my battery about three months ago. The truck was disconnected from power for about ten minutes. When I got in and started the truck, the clock and date settings in the radio had been lost. I have the Sync with MyFord 4.2" screen. The date on my radio was set to 6-9-2013, the build date of my truck. Might do the same for others.

That's interesting-that you get it from the sync reset.

Here is the actual window sticker that is on the truck. The date that you see on the bottom IS NOT the build date.

This is a window sticker copy for the same truck. You can get a dealer to pull up one of these copies or I think you can even request one from Ford.
As "lewisra" indicated, the build date is that number following 220 at the top, where you also see the word "blend" and the code 7354. So for this
truck, while the original window sticker has 5/29/14 on it,
the copy window sticker has the date code on top 220140606, which is built on 06/06/14.

This is what I call the Build Sheet. It's not like the old days....where you found one under the seat, etc. This report will be about six pages and contains all the specifications for your truck.
Build date right there on the second line.
