pics would be great! what are the dimensions of the brackets?

Yup, I started this thread so people could post the backs of their grill and how they actually mounted their LED cubes. I like your idea and think I might do this exact set up.

@blueovelboy what lights did you use in your grill? That's a great way to use up that space!

I did something similar, but I used 3x3 corner braces, like this:

Painted them black and mounted them. I used the existing holes out of laziness, but they could easily be drilled out to locate the bracket as desired.

I got some cheep ones off amazon I think $40 for the pair. its been a long time I don't remember the brand. but I used a drill and a 3/4 bit in a square pattern then cut from hole to hole with a cut off wheel on my die grinder.

Kewell is the brand of ones behind grill they are very nice when in the woods and there's no other light.
I just didn't have any time to make a mount I liked so my son did that one day while I was at work! I liked it so much I left it!
oh and thanks

Does anyone run their lights in regular traffic? or do you treat them like high beams and use them only when there are no other cars in sight.

I find that my Rigids are way too bright to use in regular traffic and only shine them as high beams when there's no traffic in front of me (in either direction)

i'd like to install additional "less-bright" driving or fog lights and be able to keep them on all the time when driving at night.
