I like the no board looks, my wife loves the boards when getting in.

Idk about your wife, but I know my mother and sister have an absolute hell of a time getting into my truck after I removed them. I have a level and 33's but it always makes me feel terrible watching them crawl in... AMP's would be a good investment.

Mine cost me about $1400. Shipped to Canada. We love them and they are the perfect height for my wife. They split the distance between the ground and the truck almost perfectly in half. We had the ford factory chrome side steps and they were to high and to slippery. Picture in signature is with them retracted.

Just take them off & wait till the next morning, look out the window & say "damn!! Someone stole my running boards last night"!

I thinking about taking mine off but they stop some door dings and they save some wear on my leather seats especially since my gf is only 5'4"

My truck did not have them when I bought it. I like the look of not having them but my 5 FT fiance is damaging the leather seats sliding out. I just put some seat covers on. She also does not like the running boards either.

Just tell her you need to trade in that little 5.0 for a 6.2 Platinum with retractible running boards.
