The problem with running with 36 pulled is I found on surfaces the truck could slip on while braking ( live gravel) the abs pump tries to do something but just can't...... but in doing so the brake pedal gets hard momentarily and you lose braking power in short intervals. It's not pumping the brakes like with abs to momentarily unlock your tires.... it just stops you from applying proper pedal pressure. I put probably 10000 miles on with this stuff disabled but ended up reinstalling the fuses for the brake problems. If you want to do it right you have to hardwire the e locker ( or ditch it) and then shut off power to 47. That kills the abs system and the factory e locker functions but won't do the goofy abs pump thing. You obviously are stuck with an open diff unless you swap the carrier in the rear end or hotwire the factory locker. I prefer the kill it electronically and retain abs function myself. Still can't do a brakestand though with either of the two fuses pulled. Just sits there and stutters just like it will stock which as I have mentioned and no one that doesn't have one acknowledges is 6.2 specific of course.....
Interesting, I wonder if the Raptor mod will work?

It's a shame that my little ole 4.6 can do 2 wheel burn outs but the 6.2 can't. Lol

No. The Raptors have the same problem the non Raptor trucks do. That's how I even found out about this "burnout tune" that JDM offers was becase of a Raptor forum. I talked about adding the Raptor TCCM to my FX4 with the guys at JDM but Jim figures it's not worth the trouble. All I would gain over what I can have now is function of the locker up to 100 mph and that's it...... which for all the work it would likely be to get that to even work in the first place it's simpler to hotwire the e locker lol. I have a 9.75" Detroit locker sitting on the shelf and I should just install it. I snapped an axle and beat up the inside of the e locker last winter so it's not the best anymore. Started to notice a little gear whine the last time I had the truck out on the highway so I will probably tear the rear end apart this winter and do just that. Yukon axle shafts and a Detroit FTW lol.

Well it sounds like you've researched way above and beyond!

I agree with new shafts and locker! Once my packs wear out in my LS I'll swap to a better LS that's gear driven. I have a 2010 so they must have really killed it as I dint find the programming to invasive unless I want to play in the snow. I did have 5* tuning do my custom tunes and have zero lag in throttle.

I have a 2009 f-150 with the 5.4 Liter... All I do is hold down the traction control button for 8 seconds and the Truck/car symbol (Which appears to be doing a burnout lol) on my dash will blink a couple times. From what I've been told that means it turns off everything. And it does seem to burn rubber a lot easer when holding it down for 8 seconds. rather then just pressing the traction control button once and letting just the Traction control go off.

Yeah I have a 2015 Silverado with a 6.2 and it rips the tires off and does brake stands when you press and hold the button on the dash too. That's about as similar as comparing your truck is to a 6.2 powered F150 is lol!

The 2015s pipe the sound of tires squealing through the speakers and the smell of tires smoking through the vents.

Very interesting thank you for all the info, it's just crazy the truck has so much power an it's so restricted. I think it's time to look into a tune an maybe open her up a bit. The burnouts are not that important for all that work lol
