Thanks guys, thinking about it now I bet it's the hood switch. I am going to look into it tomorrow and let you fellas know what I find. Any luck with yours, Darren?

Yes I re mounted the hood switch which had been left off by the dealer when they did my master cylinder recall.

All good now.

I recently changed the battery on my 2010 F150 Platnium and my horn does the same. Now when I exit the truck, with the truck off and keys in my hand, the horn beeps twice. Feedback on this would be welcomed.

no that's the way it should be.....not put back on or if you got the hood up it can't/won't remote start either ...It is a SAFETY FEATURE it's designed so when the mechanic is working on /around the engine it will not crank or start !!

Default Double beep when locking.

I left a door open and it did the double beep, closed the door, still double beep. Came in here and read this thread, opened and closed all the doors and now back to one beep.
Thanks guys.
