Default Horn honks twice when locking?

So a few weeks ago I put a subwoofer in my truck. Ever since I put the subwoofer in locking the truck has been strange. If I hit the lock button on the remote once, the doors lock but no orange markers flash. When I hit it twice to initiate the alarm it no longer does a small subtle toot, its more like 2 beeps like someone was hitting the horn on the steering wheel, and again, no orange markers flash. It's driving me nuts, anyone have any ideas?

Mine normally does that if a door or the hood is left open when you lock with the remote. Did you do any wiring under the hood that could have disturbed the hood switch or the wiring to it?

Does your truck have remote start, if so, I bet it will not work either.

Mine does the same thing and I haven't changed a thing on the truck. If I hit the remote lock button once the lights flash. If I hit it a second time it toots the horn twice. Just a real quick honk honk.

if you double tap lock it should beep once. two beeps means it thinks a door, hood or trunk is open or not closed fully

Mine only does the double honk if the door is ajar, it won't start with the key fob if the hood is open.

Do you get a "Door ajar" message when driving?

I have the same problem with my 2014 f150. I let it sit for 2 weeks and had to jump it this morning.

It now beeps twice when I use the lock function.

I figure it out. They did the master cylinder recall and forgot to put a bunch of stuff back together including the hood switch.

I'm not happy. What do?

Is the anything like rubber that goes under this bracket? Its one of the things they left off. Or is it just metal to metal contact? I'm lucky they left the nut there so I could reattach it.
