They don't reflect on the hood at all. And there's no shadow at all. The lights are pointing out in front of you, not down on your hood and at the ground immediately in front of you.

How many jeeps do you see with the lights up there? So many jeep guys do this, and it's ok for them to do it. But as soon as their on an f150, look out!

Too many negative people. And their bringing up all these "problems" that the hood mounts create, even tho they dont own them. Or have driven in an f150 with them. It bugs me. Too many know-it-alls

If I mounted them up there it wouldn't be for straight ahead of me, they'd aimed right over my headlight towards the ditches in front of me. For me they'de be use more for a wider rather than longer range of light since I already have a light bar and duallys. While I would love that functionality however, I'm not going to mount them up there as I think it looks odd.

X2 I've some stuff on here I wouldn't do but it's not my truck or money, who cares? I like my hood lights!
