Does the 2011 Eco boost have a MAF sensor?
Alright guys, I'm sorry if I this has been answered before. But I can not find a DIFINITIVE answere. I've heard some of the early Eco boost have a MAF sensor. Was thinking about running turbo smart BOVS, but want to vent to atmosphere for a bit first to see if I like it. So the big question is there a possibility that my 2011 has the MAF sensor??

Yes it does the maf is right behind the air filter. The bovs have zero to do with the maf as they are far behind the maf and dump into the turbo inlet.

Thanks that's what I was thinking, I just know changing the bov in some applications can mess with the air/fuel ratio, so in the f 150 that's not the case then?

So would venting to atmosphere affect the fueling then? Because of the MAF at the intake? Or is that just to measure air temp coming through the intake?

I already said the bov dumps are behind the maf so NO it won't have any effect on it. I did it for 1 hour, it sounds stupid as hell on these trucks and you have to punch the gas hard from every take off just to hear the things dump.

The 2011 is Maf the location of the sensor changed from the side of the intake tube to the top in 12-14. MAP. Case closed sell your truck and buy your tundra.
