I doubt that's true though, it's probably way more expensive for ford to design new mounting brackets and to test them than for a company to buy a few hoods and relocate a few holes in a CAD file.

The only way I can see ford changing that stuff if hoods were opening while driving down the road or if they were shifting a great amount.
Oh...well yeah, i can definitely tell you that's not true. If something does get changed, its usually a design flaw, and gets superseded.

Ford plans for this in there original tooling so it's fairly inexpensive for the to make changes to the tooling...many times they design different frames as part of the original design...they keep this very secret to keep aftermarket companies from competing with there parts business

I'm going to argue that the manufacturers change thing to slow down the aftermarket. If they were doing that then why would they hold measuring sessions before the new models are released to the dealers or the public?

I wonder if you could go to a dealership and ask to open the hood to measure all the mounting points and compare to yours. Depends on your dealer I guess

Short answer, I'm gonna say yes. There was no drastic body design change for 2013.
