Default Homemade Quick Detailer

Heres my problem,

I recently moved to a new town and now live in an apartment. All the "do it yourself" car washes don't have a spot free rinse. So I wash my truck then park it in my garage and wipe down my truck with a microfiber cloth and meguiars quick detailer to remove water spots.

I've been going through a lot of this quick detailer lately since I wash once a week. Has anyone come up with a safe formula for a homemade quick detailer?

A chamois will dry it, spot free. Use it over and over.

Yes.........Meguiars "LAST TOUCH" ,it's in their "Professional Line".....
It's available in gallons from a detailers supply or a Meg. dealer that will order it for you. It's about $20 and really good.

I think his point is why try to mix some home made crap up when you can buy good stuff that's tried and true. if moneys an issue then buy in bulk. I doubt you will find a DIY Solution someone made in their bath tub than what's out there by all the big guys.

Remnard

I hear ya.....but for a Jackson he can get something tried and true and not Aunt Tillies' Potion which might or might not work.

Trigger was trying to find an agent that will detail and leave a finish on the Paint....I could have recommended brake fluid....no?

If you want something that is cheap and a better QD than check out Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate. It can be mixed as 3:1 or 4:1. Plenty of info on Google if you search.

If you don't want to mix it at all, look into FK425. More expensive but also another favorite of mine.

Hope this helps..
