If you look at the 2010's air input to the filter box, it gets NO air from under the hood at all. So really it is a CAI. I just did the same home made tube system to mine.

What were those Ford engineers thinking with that stock system? Surly there had to be a better way to do it.. I LOVE the new sound!

After reading the title of this thread was anyone else disappointed it did not involve the use of duck tape?

Thats funny. I was soo expecting PVC, complete with purple joints. What he actually did was a clean install.

That's the risk you take replying to several year old threads. Many people trade and buy new vehicles frequently. You can click on the users name, then view public profile, then click statistics and it will show you the last time they did anything on here.
