Put 27 gallons in my 36 gallon tank, in Santa Barbara mid June. $112.00 or $4.15 per gallon. Ridiculous. I live in Charlotte and bought 87 in South Carolina yesterday for $2.09. This is why my stepdaughter in CA drives a Chevy Spark (her choice). I don't think it will be too much longer before she comes back home. Even the 9 gallon tank in her car is causing her to spend more than she likes.

Oil is at $45ish a barrel. There is no excuse for the fuel prices in socal. It's total bullish!t. I don't care what excuse the oil companies give us. Even e85 is getting out of control here. Back home in Michigan e85 is about $1.25-1.50 a gallon and its $3.39 out here. Just stupid.

Having one of the major refineries blow up and taken out of service is causing a major supply disruption. You can't bring gas in from outside due to CA regs so until the Exxon refinery is back online gas prices is being sold at market pricing. Wish you well

just when gas starts to go down at the pump, an oil refinery blows up or an oil rig has some sort of problem. Always something from the oil industry to scare the people on the trading floor to keep things from going down on the retail end.

I work literally across the street from that refinery. It is complete BS, that wasnt even being used and they were going to tear it down anyways.

Follow up, this refinery produced 10% of the special blended gasoline for the CA market. Can't get it from any other place it's gonna cost more.

And as ExxonMobile had no plans to dismantle this plant bs back at you
