Wow, didn't think it would be this much work, but I should be getting it back sometime later this week.

I had a couple other really banged up cars come out looking flawless first time, but this shop even goes so far as to offer a lifetime warranty, so I'm not worried on the outcome.
But waiting now on three weeks has really brought me on "edge" without my daily "fix" of '50

Filled out both the survey from FoMoCo and the dealership. Gave them both barrels.
Got calls today from Ford Customer Care (with promise if an investigation) and from the dealership wanting me to come in for a sit-down with the service manager. Not sure what they intend to offer me other than perhaps some stroking and an empty promise of quality assurance the next time the truck goes in for service.

At least your's got covered under warranty.
And mine, well, I got it "snuck" under the front end collision!
But STILL in the shop after four weeks, going on the fifth

Found this thread looking for some thoughts.. Washed my 2012 supercab today and noticed the same dents and paint chip from hinges..no wind no slamming door open but two weeks ago did drop truck to dealer to have new door latch put in door..they had to take interior of door off..could they have out touch pressure on door to make those dents in door?

The body shop replaced the hinges with brand new ones but the leading edge still "kissed" the hinge when gently "over opened." So I had them take the door back off and grind a shallow depression into the hinge edges where contact was made. After two years and countless times of accidentally allowing the door to swing open all the way with too much force, no chips nor deformations: problem solved!
