highway vibration
My 2010 F150 4x4 develops a vibration around 60mph. It does not seem to follow the engine rpm . I checked all tires for defects and there is no feed back through the steering. The truck doesn't bonce like an out of balance tire. I checked the temperature of the u joints and wheel bearings. Seems like it might be the drive shaft or the slip joint in the rear drive shaft does that make sense? Any other ideas?

Had the tires rebalanced and didnt help.
I drove the truck on the highway in "D" and the vibration started around 60 mph. Then I drove in "3" and again the vibration started around 60 mph. In "D" the engine speed was about 2000 and in "3" the engine speed was about 4000, so the engine and transmission are pretty much ruled out don't you think. The drive shaft would be turning at the same speed whenever I'm going 60.
Get your spare tyre and go test with it fitted, see if you feel any difference, if not, change it to another wheel, and test again.
You'd be surprised how often this is a worn and/or crappy tyre.

had all 4 tires replaced and road force balanced. All were 100% it’s 100% not the tires or rims
