I haven't figured it out, but feel this deserves a bump. Sirius' sound quality is absolute crap, even compared to HD radio stations. I'm not going to renew my subscription, and as such i would like to remove the options from the screen.

On another note, why hasn't anyone hacked the MFT system yet? I'm sure the aftermarket crowd would have PLENTY of things they'd change.

Your vehicle comes with two step unlocking enabled. Unlocking can be
switched between two step and one step door unlocking by pressing and
holding both lock and unlock simultaneously on the remote entry
transmitter for approximately four seconds. The hazard lamps will flash
twice to indicate that the vehicle has switched to one step unlocking.
Repeat the procedure to switch back to two-step unlocking.
Does this change the way the keypad on the door handle unlocks the doors (1 vs all)?

Thanks.

So If I do this modification, my keypad on the door handle will unlock all the doors with my 5-digit code?

If I don't do this modification I have to use the 5-digit code then press "3" twice?

I agree - Sirius sound quality is the pits - even basic FM dtereo sounds tons better. My buddy who has a Dodge HD was complaining about how his stereo sounded after having it upgraded so I swithced his input to his Ipod and he was amazed - because he listens to Sirius most of the time. May not have needed the upgrade...? I only listen to Sirious on roadtrips.

I have the flip down armrest/console, I think it's called the 40-20-40 seat maybe, but anyhow, when you lift up the lid to that console (revealing a puny little storage space BTW) there is a funny-shaped outline that looks like it's designed to hold something. I've tried and tried to figure out what it's for. Too shallow to hold much of anything like a cellphone or pistol. Probably only 1/4" deep. Is the weird shape designed for something specific, or was it just a byproduct of Ford's goofy shoulder belt in the middle seat design?

Lol. Yeh. The "times are a changing", that's for sure.
