Default HID "like"

Thinking of getting HID "like" headlight bulbs. Is there only one bulb for each side, or is there a seperate bulb for the daylight running lamps. Fog lights only have one bulb for each side. Are the headlights the same?

Check the manual - it shows the replacement bulbs for the different lights. I wouldn't switch the bulbs anyway - HID "like" bulbs are a total waste in my opinion.

The headlights have a single H13 in each housing, and the fog light bulbs are a 9140.

I have been told that the 9145 also called a H10 will fit. It is 5W hotter though. I don't know if that will cause a problem with the wires.

Also those blue halogens tend to have less light and put out more heat. Make sure you get a product that wont melt your connectors because once you switch the bulbs you void the warranty on your truck (that is what the service mangier told me)

I just put the silverstars in mine and they are a lot better. I wanted the silverstar ultras but they don't make that bulb in our size. I noticed that the lights sucked when I first bought the truck and I can say that I am extremely happy with the 40+ bucks I spent on the silverstars.

Now I am trying to find someone that carries the 9140 silverstar.
