I just used the stock reflectors and it has a nice cut off with out washing it out or blinding other drivers. I have had them on for over 2 months and have yet to be flashed once!!

I went with 5K for my truck. The light on the ground is nice and white but the headlights themselves still look slightly blue when you have them on. I have a 6K kit on my car and my wife has an 8K kit on hers, but my favorite is still the 5K.

Well I installed them today (6000K). Blue, but not too bad. They are really bright, and were easy to install. The fog lights are on back order until atleast Tuesday of next week. I REALLY like them.

Thanks for all of your advice. (as always)

So did you take that reflector (or cap) out or leave it in?

Leave the cap on unless you really want to **** off other drivers.

Is everyone just using their stock headlight lens and putting in the HIDs? I know this would be the cheapest route but is it the safest? I heard with the HIDs you need the projector lens or retrofit it. Just wanted to get everyone's opinion.

its called a ricer mod. usually people are putting them on for the COLORS of their light. name a vehicle that rolls out of the factory with HID and reflector housing... ZERO. its a selfish ignorant type of mod. without a projector housing, you are increasing your vision on the road at a cost of others vision. hope its not your grandmother on the opposite lane

BTW, I retrofitted my motorcycle with projectors just so I can have HID headlights
