hesitation & engine light blinks
when i step on the gas while already driving to really accelerate their is alot of hesitation and the engine light blinks, in your opinion whats causing this issue. i did have the check engine light on and got the codes from it but now its off no engine lights on at all. 2013 ford ecoboost, the codes that came out were ( cylinder 4 misfire detected, turbocharger wastegate, turbo/super charger underboost

ROT (Rule Of Thumb) when multiple codes are detected, is to dianose and address the lowest-numbered first.

Hopefully your diagnostics will pass the monitoring of the wastegate actuator rod. MEANING: The turbo's don't need to be replaced, and that the issue is probably (?) a faulty waste gate control solenoid.

Have you ever changed the plugs, if so was there arching and did you replace the boots
misfire and hesitation are symptoms of worn plugs, i got all the way to like 120k kms with my original plugs on my ecoboost

Look up youtube videos before doing it, there are tricks to getting the plugs out here is a good example of a video
good luck ecoboost is a good engine
i did use compressed air from a can meant for cleaning computers, but i dont think its do or die.
going into the deep wells electrical tape is a good friend for keeping your sockets+extensions together if you use a spark plug socket.

I have a spark plug rig with a spark plug socket, u-joint, and medium extension held together by HVAC tape. I put it together the first time I changed the plugs in my '95 Ranger; it was either that or remove the intake manifold. That tape stuck so good that it's still stuck together almost 20 years later...but at least the socket will come out with the extension instead of staying on the plug at the bottom of the plug well...
