2014 5.0 on the right hand side of the engine bay. I was doing the Air Conditioner mod and noticed this wire with a terminal just hanging out. Can someone help me figure out where it hooks up to?

Looks like a ground. I can go check mine.

Looks like a ground. Should be able to attach it to any other ground you see and be good.

I kinda thought that also. It comes out of the big wire bundle that runs along the valve cover. It has a good 90 or 180 degree bend in it. Truck runs fine, but I want to get it hooked up before I help my buddy move this weekend.

It goes on that bolt next to the connectors on the firewall.

I believe it attaches to that bolt to the right of the...Guessing computer plug ins. In the first photo, up and center. Posting photos of mine in just a few.

Seems strange that it would be unplugged. That should be the ground for the ECM.

Was you truck running strange?

I think it may have been sitting on the ground stud without a nut, and while I was wrapping the A/C line, I may of knocked it off. I started the truck with it on and off and everything seemed to be ok, but I went out and bought a nut to secure it to the ground stud.
Thanks again everyone. I am pulling a U-haul trailer across the entire state of Missouri tomorrow, so I'm glad to have this resolved.
