I have a white KR and if I were getting a toolbox, my vote on color would be (1) painted pale adobe (to blend in with the bed rails), (2) black (to blend in with the bed liner), and (3) chrome

I also wanted a black UWS gull-wing crossover toolbox for my new F-150 (Dark Blue Pearl), and after I couldn't find the toolbox on the UWS web site, I sent them an e-mail asking if they sold a black diamond plate gull-wing toolbox.

The response was that they don't offer the black diamond plate toolbox due to the powder coating process.

I ended up getting the shiny aluminum gull-wing toolbox (I've had this same toolbox on two different Super Duty trucks), and it looks good on my truck.

I have a flush mount weatherguard. I had to cut and re weld on the corners to cover the wheel wells. I like how it turned out tho

That sucks that you had to hack up a $500+ dollar tool box but it looks great. I like flush mount and low profile boxes the best.

I had it in my Duramax I traded in on my f150. You would think toolbox manufacturers would already have came up with this since there are so many 5.5 ft truck beds out there

I put a black Highway Products gull wing box with the "gladiator" pattern on a white XLT. Looks great. But I can see the point of something fancier on Lariat. Chrome or bright aluminum wouldn't look right, though.

I vote stainless but you could also get it line-x extra to match the two tone.

Oops. We're talking about a KR. Stainless or brushed aluminum would look nice.

Has anyone had any luck finding photos of a white KR with a silver or black tool box? I have the same truck and am looking to get a low profile Weatherguard, but can't decide on color. The adobe accents on the bedrail make it tough to picture what will look better.
