Ask for it at invoice. When I did, they told me they could do it for $500 over invoice on a truck I ordered. I said I would pull the trigger if they let it go at invoice because a buddy of mine just paid invoice and I could just order the truck through that dealer. They said they could do it for invoice and I bought the truck. Sticker was $53,000 and some change. Got it for invoice less end of year incentives, less lariat, less $750 coupon. After TT&L I got my truck for $46,123 out the door. Lariat 4x4, every option available. TT&L alone was $3,022.00

$46,123 seemed like a lot but I dont feel like I got the shaft. If you think about it, it is about 10 grand off sticker before taxes...

RBroome101 - So your dealer just knocked off almost $11 Grand off the sticker, then you got another $1500 off for incentives? Did you get it for like 4 thousand less than Dealer Cost? Wow, if those numbers don't lie, I wanna get my next truck where you got yours. Matter of fact, I could probably sell my truck with 8,000 miles, get a deal like you got and come out with a better truck at a better price...Wanna PM me that dealership name?

I would avoid a platinum altogether aside from the nicer leather (optional on the FX4), all you get is a truck with less capacity and blingy useless doodads. The FX4 is a better value, and you can get one loaded to the gills for a lot less money Plus the FX4 has better towing capacity.

I guess i'm dreaming huh....
You should be able to get $41-42 with all rebates. I just bought mine last month. It had a sticker of 51,600 and I got it for 41,000.

I properly optioned Platinum (Eco, 3.73) has the same tow capacity as an FX4.

The only option you can't get on the Platinum is the max payload package but you can't get that on the FX4 either.

I would love to get a FX4 and probably will. My reason for getting the platinum was the grey leather interior and the (my opinion) nicer 20 inch rims. Stupid I know but those were my reasons.....
