Default Help!! 2010 f150, BLUE wrench icon

Hello all, looking for some help on this issue I have. I have been getting a blue wrench icon popping up right next to the odometer, every time I drive the car that icon pops up then every second time I drive it the check engine light comes on. Read the code with the obd 2 scanner and it throws a p0741 code. Torque converter clutch solenoid. Had all that serviced and transmission totally rebuilt but this code still keeps popping up even after I erase it with the scanner. Was wondering what that icon meant first of all and secondly what I have to do to erase it since it won't pass inspection with the check engine light. Thank you much.

P.S. it's a 2010 f150 4.6L V8

I read that the electronic throttle control and also the check 4x4 warnings are also a wrench icon but I am under the impression those are yellow in color thanks again

The Owner's Guide will tell you what the icon means. If you don't have one, you can get a PDF of it here:
https://owner.ford.com/tools/account...rd&model=F-150

If the code keeps coming back, either your OBDII reader isn't successfully resetting it (a distinct possibility) or the underlying problem still exists. I'd suggest getting an ELM adapter (like the OBDLink MX, ~$75 at Amazon) and a copy of Forscan (see the Forscan sticky at the top of this section of the forum) and use that to reset it.

Sounds like you should take it back to the transmission shop if you're still under warranty.
