2010 5.4L. 42 Months, ~55K miles, No problems and purrs is the right way to describe it. Oil changed at the dealer every 4,000 miles.

You seem to get lemons like Becca does. We have 3 5.4s, one in each generation, and no problems on any of them. Not to mention that the 5.4 the OP is looking at is way past the point where they fixed the known issues. They may not get the best MPG but they're the most proven engine so far since all 4 2011+ engines are only 3 years old.

Edit:

Example, this says it gets better fuel economy, but nothing for horsepower:

This one gets better power, but no fuel economy:

Please show me one that does both.
Southern Speed Inc tuned! The best!

I don't see the 5.4 on their list plus I want to program my PCM myself.

Wouldn't be considering that PA will charge more in taxes and other BS than Texas based on my experiences in buying vehicles there and here. The main thing is that 4x4's probably carry a premium done there since it's more of a bragging matter, than a necessity. Would probably bode well for someone trading from a 4x4 to 4x2 when moving back?

I had a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer GTS for a short time. I drove it for about 6 months, it was my brother's and we were trying to sell it. Great car, no issues.

Otherwise, no.

X2. Friends 2001 5.4L has 200k on it. NEVER an issue with the engine except normal maintenance.
