Default Hella 500 installation help

I picked up a set of Hella driving lights that I'm trying to install to my bull bar. I have little-to no knowledge when it comes to electronics/wiring. The instructions that came with the lights are garbage. I've searched the forum and the internet high and low for detailed step by step instructions. Does anyone know where I can find some? Or perhaps PM me to help.

Thanks in advance. I'd like to avoid splicing into existing wiring and use only the supplied switch.

Red to positive on battery, black to ground or negitive on battery, then follow the diagram for the relay to the switch.

simple eletrical diagram...

red wire with spade to battery, couple inches out make sure you have a proper sized fuse, red wire all the way to the lighting area to a relay (Single Pole Double Throw Relay) with a spade hooked to #30 on the relay. #87 on the relay should continue the red wire to the lights. Ground the lights to the chassis. With a toggle, one side needs to have a power source inside the cab, and the other side of the toggle should run to either #86 or #85 of the same relay as before. ground te toggle if its designed to be grounded.

and if you want them to also come on when high beams are on, t-tap the wire that goes to the highs on the headlights and run it to either #85 or #86 on the relay from earlier (obviously use the one you DIDNT tap into with the toggle)

I have read the instructions, do you really think I would come here asking for help if I hadn't? Maybe I'm stupid but I can't figure it out and I'd like to have good direction before I start stripping wires trying connections.

There are no spades on the ground wires coming off of the lights, how do I ground them? Where does the pale green power for switch wire run to? How do I connect it? Sorry if all this seems like common knowledge, I'm just new at this and would like to learn and save myself installation money.

EDIT: Thank you jcain. The switch does need to be grounded, however where do I connect the switch to the power source inside the cabin that you're mentioning?

Then there's the lights. Load and ground wires off both obviously. Neither has any type of connector. I'm guessing use the red connectors to attach the spliced end of the #87 to the lights

for the switched power inside the cabin, you can hit any open fuse bay in the fuse panel that is hot when key-on only, or tap off the switched wire at the back of the radio.
