I was looking for tips and real world experience towing heavy loads with ecoboost. I will be towing a 33' travel trailer which will be close to 10,000lbs loaded. I have 14 lariat s/c 6.5 4x4 Eco with 3.73 gears and max tow pkg. (11,200 rating)
Any tips beside the obvious tow Haul mode? I will have the proper w/d and sway control hitch (equal-I-zer) brand

Adjust your equalizer bars so that the truck sits fairly level and trailer should have a slight nose down attitude. The Max power on this engine is around 1900 - 2000 rpm so that should dilate your highway speed. Push it above 2200 and it will become very thirsty.

I pull a 21 ft enclosed trailer. I have the 3.55's. I like locking the truck out of 6th and letting it rev to 2200 RPM. Seems to get better MPG compared to leaving it in 6th running around 1800ish RPM. I tow mainly in hilly areas and hardly ever have to downshift as I'm already close to max power.

How would you turn it off? I also use a trailer sway bar with my weight distributing hitch.

In addition to a properly set up WDH, you'll want some type of additional sway control on the hitch. I have allways used the friction bar, but have never towed anything over 28 feet. As stated, 33 feet is a lot of sail area out there behind you a long ways.
I am going to switch to the higher grade Equalizer Hitch ( the one without the chains) this season as it has many more points of anti sway contact. It is pricey but peace of mind is worth it.
Have you towed this heavy and this long before this?

You can turn it off on your settings however every time you re-start the truck it defaults to back on

I would check out the tounge wt.

Is the receiver rated for the load?
Does the truck have the available payload to carry the tounge and anything you put in the truck?
A 10k travel trailer should have 12-15% on the ball.
