Default heated seat probs

2010 f150 lariat. Heating and cooling feature on my driver side seat will turn on for 2-3 seconds then shut off.

Any ideas?

My heated seat does the same thing. Passenger side is fine. When it first happened to mine the power mirror also stopped working but has since started working again. Seat still doesn't work.

Need to replace the heating element. Should be less than $30 for the part and takes about 30 mins to replace. The dealer will charge about $400.

Same thing here. Did battery disconnect for 30 min and so far all good. Never worked before. 3 seconds shut off heat and cool. May want to check filters under seats

I have seen this issue on the expeditions and Lincoln MKX. It’s usually the ground wire on the connector to the heated seat module that burns out. Usual fix is to replace the connector and splice a new one in. Costs about 50 bucks for the connector if I remember correctly.
