Heat only coming out of front vents
I just recently bought a 2011 F-150 crew cab FX4. 120k miles. We just had our first snow of the year and I realized the heat is only blowing out of the front vents even though I change it to defrost or feet it still only blows out of the front vents. Any ideas what could be causing this? Thanks in advance!

It all depends. Depending on which actuator it is, it could require the dash to be removed to replace it. From what understand, your truck is an FX4, so it should have dual climate controls...correct. If this is the case, there are three actuators, one for the mode and one for temp control on each side. From what you are describing, it sounds as if the actuator for the mode selector is bad. I am not sure of the location or if the dash has to be removed for the mode selector actuator.
