Default Heartthrob Exhaust

So I would like to upgrade the exhaust on my truck and this kit seems to be the only one that sounds good when listening to the video clips. I don't want a ricie sounding exhaust but something that sounds like a traditional v8.

For those who have it installed how do you like it? How does it compare to the videos?

You're never going to get a V8 sound on a turbo'd V6. I have the Gibson Metal Mulisha exhaust on my 3.7L. The 4" pipe and 6" tip resonates the sound enough for it to be a mix of the world's angriest Allis-Chalmers and hornets on steroids. I like it but have never heard it on an EB.

Yeah I realize its not going to sound like a V8. I Guess I should have stated "the closest thing to"

I don't want an exhaust that sounds like a honda accord with a fart can on it.

There is a local guy who has a mbrp 4" S5248P exhaust for sale. 250$. Also comes with a stage 3 Motorsports resonator.

He said his wife didn't like how loud it was so he went back to stock.

Thoughts?

I have the 4" Heartthrob. It's fairly loud, but not nearly as loud as my Flowmaster 40 was on my Dakota v8 I came from.

Doesn't sound like a ricer to me.

mbrp is good quality but to me the 4" pipe is way too loud from sound clips and local guys. although you would probably get the most power gain from the larger pipe.
