Default Headlights

I have a new 2010 F150 Supercrew Lariat 4WD, the headlights are not very bright. I have had the adjustment checked & they are adjusted correctly. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything that can be done?

I would try searching for "headlights."

If you find a good replacement bulb please let me know....I will do the same. The head ights on low beam are very weak. High beams are fine.

That seems to be hit and miss on these trucks. I had a loaner truck, 09 F150, when my superduty was in the shop. I live in the country and the lights were aweful. When bought my 2010 F150 FX4 I was a little worried. The lights are great on my new truck tho. I can't explain it but they are nice and bright. I do drive with the fogs on all the time too.

I also found the headlights in my 2010 to be lacking, and in the country I live in we have these 1000-1800 lb animals called Moose (grin) that will wreak havoc on the front end of your vehicle. This is what i did to make my headlights brighter........

+1

I was worried about mine after reading all the "lousy headlight" posts so I ordered the Hella H13's before I'd driven the truck for any distance at night. Drove about 60 miles on Interstate and back roads the other day with the OEM's, driving + fogs, look plenty good to me! (will save the Hellas for later)

Default SilverStars

I replaced my heads with SilverStar H13s and fogs with 9145s...big difference. I used them on all of my non-hid vehicles...even my bike. Well worth the $50. Check Amazon for the best prices.

HID 35w 6000k is the way to go!! Took me about an hour to install nice and tidy and are 100 times better than the stock lights! They are whiter and reach further without p*ssing off other drivers. They are so good that i dont turn the fogs on because the yellow from the fogs "muddys" the bright white color of the HID's! I will look at upgrading my fogs next!

I just bought the Hella H13's Optilux Xenon White XB. It says on the pacakge that they are 100w lows and an 80w high. I also ordered the Optilux XB Series H11 for the fogs, they are on back order. I paid $76 through Amazon, including shipping for both. I'm waiting for the fogs before I put on the headlights, I want it all at one time.

I have another question; I did a level lift and the lights need adjustment. Can someone tell me how do I adjust the height of the lights?
