My 2006 Fusion put a message on the dash when there was a taillight out. I haven't really looked to see if my 2013 F150 has this feature.

If you mean, is there a pilot light on the dash for the head lights - then sadly No. I guess the theory is that if you have the lights on and one fails, it will go dark on that side, indicating the failure, which is enough like having a pilot light that it obviates the need for an actual pilot light.

If you mean, does the whiny Sync lady alert you when a headlight fails - mine doesn't. I don't think I could live with her announcing every 10 seconds, "Your left head light low beam has failed. Please get to your nearest Ford Service Center as soon as possible and insist on a genuine Ford Motor Company replacement part which will return your vehicle to its original condition and increase your driving pleasure." "Squawk, screech"! "Your left head light low beam..........
