Default Head Unit Install

How hard is it to install a new head unit? I have a 2009 F150 STX Extended Cab and want to replace the stock unit. I am not an electronics expert and would like to do the job myself and not shell out a ton of money to get it done. Does anyone have any directions or anything on how to do a new HU install and what I will need (wiring harness etc) to do the job. Any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS

The hardest thing on these new trucks is the adapter to fit the new head unit in the space of the old.

The wiring adapter can be picked up at wally world for like $10 and the antenna adapter we had to use was a chrysler one picked up from Best Buy for like $5. Then it's just a simple matter of plug and play.

If you're adding extra speakers then you'll just have to match colored wire a. with speaker wire a.

Real simple.
