Not the SuperCrew but in the Wife's 2011 Expedition EL (which is basically the same vehicle), I installed this
Pyle 7" DVD Player Pyle 7" DVD Player
. Got a set of
IR headphones IR headphones
& my 10-yr old daughter loves it. No problems with it in over 14 months of almost daily use.

just stay away from TView brand. Just threw mine away at just a little over a year old. DVD eye went bad wouldn't read any dvd's.

But, in a screw, very easy to install, especially since we have zip up and down seats. Run the power and ground and you good! just make sure to get the right size posts....ie: diameter.

I installed two dual monitor dual DVD players in my xlt screw. Got them on amazon for like 200 bones with free ship. Install not to bad by getting power from rear dc plug in back of center counsel /jump seat. Like the fact they zip up the screens making them look like stock head rests.

What DC plug adapter did you use? How did you wire it to the monitors?

I just tapped my power and ground wire directly to the wires behind the dc outlet aka cigarette lighter plug located between two seats in back. It's always on connection so don't forget to turn DVD off when leaving car. Just unscrew some plastic to get access. Watch out most posts never fit perfectly being a little more wabbly than stock. Also you might loose the up down lock on headrest post due to most adapters not having matching notches. My headrest is in down position and slightly further back from my head since DVD headrest are not as fat as our stock headrest.

Holy crap i did not. Those must not be the ones I was looking at. I never saved the link but they look the same.

I picked up one of these

http://www.philips.ca/c/mp3-and-mp4-...030_37/prd/en/

It will mount on the rear of the headrest. Its a little wobbly but seems to keep my boy entertained while on long trips. It will also play movies Ive downloaded and put onto a usb drive.
