Warning: If you have a 2011 or newer with EPAS, DO NOT start wailing on the rotor with a hammer unless you disconnect the battery or feel like buying a new and quite expensive EPAS steering rack...

Also, these are the pad differences... Visually, they are not very different, but the pads are most certainly different for inside and out. And if you don't get it correct, well see the post with rubbing brakes above. Definitely for 2010-2014, not sure about 2009.

I am thinking the ear thing was a 2010+ feature. Hawk only lists one part number for LTS pads in 2009. The rotors are tapped for extraction bolts however I could not find info on size/thread anywhere. The question had been asked multiple times here and other sites without anyone answering that I could find. i made the choice of not carrying rotor into store to figure it out and just purchasing $3 worth of materials to get the job done. If you want to share with others the size/thread on what bolts work please post it for future reference.

On my 2011, rotors were tapped for M10 coarse bolts. Technically "M10-1.5" Pretty standard. Length isn't really important as long as they are longer than the thickness of the rotor. 40mm or so works great (M10-1.5 x 40mm).

Should be available in even the most understocked hardware, auto parts, or home supply type store, especially since grade, finish, length, even head-style doesn't really matter.

Here's a better shot of the inside (with ears) vs outside pads...

Yeah I know what you and others are talking about with the pad difference. As I said I was a little worried when they came and they were all the same, no ears on any of them. But OE pads that were in there were the same , no ears. Thinking about it more it must be a 2010+ change due to them changing the brakes entirely in 2010.

So, had these on for a few days and honestly I'm disappointed. They feel the same or possibly even worse than the stock rotors and pads i took off. they seem to be light on the initial bite and offer no greater high pressure grabbing. I guess not bad for 185, but had I done it again I'd have gone with a more towing specific pad and slotted rotors from stoptech, or even a bigger brake kit, but the LTS and quiet stop rotors are not that great.

Did you bed them properly? Mine are night and day vs. stock pads... MUCH better.
