Well looks like I missed out. They're $366 now.

Also had mine put in yesterday. I have same feelings as those posted above. Very smooth and no more steering wheel vibration when stopping from high speeds

What's the difference between the HKZ and HKY kits?

EDIT: I guess the HKZs are ceramic pads. I'm ordering the HKY for half of the price.

Question for those that have installed Hawk pads, did the pads come with new hardware? I am going to be doing my front brakes hopefully next week when I'm off and just curious if I am going to have to mess around with cleaning the old hardware off.

What hardware exactly are you speaking of? In the box, you get two rotors, 4 pads, and the grease for the pads to keep them from squealing.

There are only two small bolts holding the caliper to the abutment bracket and then the monster bolts holding that bracket to the knuckle. They use red loctite so they are a mother to get off.

Other than that, no other hardware and you just reuse it.

Did you have to use heat or an impact gun to get the bolts off, or just muscle?

The hardware I am referring to are the clips between the pads and caliper bracket. There are stock OE clips there, at least there are supposed to be but I think you answered my question in that the Hawk pads do not come with new clips.

The stainless clip sets are sold seperately. They are like $10 on rockauto.

Ah yes the clips on the abutment brackets themselves. Forgot about those Sorry have a newborn at home!

My truck only has 30k miles and those clips were still very tight and snug so I didn't see a need to replace them.
