Default Having first child what should I get for my wife?

My wife is currently driving my '11 Scab FX4 5.0.

We are having our first child and I was going to get her a new Explorer since there isn't much interior room in the Scab. When I went to the dealer to check out the explorers there was a sweet looking white FX4 screw. Now I'm torn on whether to get her the explorer or screw.

Anyone have any advice on which to get or pro's and con's of either? My wife really likes driving the truck now so going to the screw wouldn't be a big deal.

Thanks in advance.

I guess what I was asking is if the truck was ideal for hauling around a baby and baby stuff? she likes driving the truck now so do we just go with a truck with the bigger back seat and I get the HIDs, the eco-boost, vented seats, etc... or should we just get the glorified minivan(explorer) that barely gets better gas mileage. We could go with an edge too but I believe I'd be paying close to the same for one of those compared to the FX4 and the explorer.

We honestly are looking to hear about any lessons learned.

Default SCrew

My wife drives my 2012 FX2 SCrew. We looked, that thing has more second row seating than any SUV and with the Truxedo LoPro on the bed, she has more cargo capacity than she can ever need!

Default Other post.

Just read your other post. The only lesson I've learned is to cover the carpet with something like Weathertec mats and get leather seats for easier cleanup.

I think they would be safer in an F150 If somebody T-Boned it.

Had an Explorer and replaced it with a Screw when my son turned two. Should have done it sooner as the truck has way more usable space, plus my son loves his "big twuck" more than I do!
