Haven't even made my first payment!!
Not even 1000 miles on the new truck yet. Haven't even made the first payment! Went to go help a friend of mine move some furniture. Parked my truck along the street and we carried on with moving his stuff. Some kids were out riding bikes and scooters when I got there. I came out to go home and found a neighborhood kid had ran their scooter or something into my truck. No notes and all the kids were gone. Ugh WTF. I have 2 kids, 3, and 5. Even my 3 year old knows that if you damage someones things, you tell them. WTF is wrong with parents these days?

That sucks. The service dept put a bunch of scratches on my fender with only 500 miles on my truck. I feel your pain, but at least Ford took care of mine. I guess you are stuck with the bill on this one.

I'm sure that this won't make you feel any better but.....
I bought a brand new Tacoma back in 2011. On the second night that I had it I decided to help a friend move a small kitchen table from one apartment to another (maybe one mile apart) I put the table in the back of the truck and only had one bungee cord handy so I put it around the legs and then attached it to a point on the bed rail thinking i would just go slow and everything would be fine.
Pull out of the driveway and the strap broke instantly (dry rotted I do believe) and the table smashed right through the back window of my brand new truck. Talk about being sick....
Sorry this has happened to you man.

Holy crap !!!!
That's way to deep to buff out, Sorry to hear that they got you too.
My new truck has 800+ miles and someone got my door.
I'll post a pic later, I'm not to bad off though. Mine looks like it'll buff out.
Good luck man.
Not the best picture , it's dark and I'm at work. Don't mind the hard hat in the photo.
Edit : better photo

It's hard to tell from the pic, but are you sure that's a scratch? It almost looks like a smudge or something. Kinda looks like they ran a crayon or marker over it.

Kids are magnetically attracted to vehicles.. If the are riding they'll always be close to vehicles.. Playing basketball they'll always put the goal beside the vehicles.. Freeze tag.. Yep.. Vehicles..
I know from experience.. My kid is 12.. If she's outside one of my vehicles is getting a scratch

Within two weeks of owning my truck someone in the Lowes parking lot smacked the side I my bed with what looks like it could have been a 2x4, no note, nothing!
