You could unplug it to change tunes or you could get the pass through harness which gives you an extra OBD2 port so you still have one open at all times.

I was gonna buy NFab, but afraid they rust too easily, and really leaning towards this now! More for practicality than anything else, although I do like the look of a truck without boards on it! Too many decisions, and you guys don't make it any easier!!

I had the N-Fabs and they are nice but are even less usable than stock steps.

I had them on for two years and the powder coat was starting to flake on one of the mounts.

I wanted these two years ago but was short on funds and now I was able to get them especially at the great price.

Totally worth it in my eyes!

These are the best steps for actually using them for steps. Just took my 84 year old mother out for lunch. She would always have a hard time getting in our minivan. No way I would even let her try to get in my new truck with the stock steps. I now have my Amps so I thought we would try it. She got in easier than she ever did in our van. These are the best mod ever!
