Even though my truck will probably never experience a mechanical failure because it's amazing, I imagine as our trucks get into higher mileages there will be plenty to talk about...

You are forgetting all the now inevitable debates, trolling, outright pissing matches with the new 2015 trucks!
2.7 ecoboost vs 3.5 ecoboost vs 3.5 n/a vs 5.0.
New aluminum vs old steel.
New looks vs old.
6 speed vs 10 speed
New sync vs old sync.... Wait, no debate there.

Then I had an oil use issue, that note went away. Now I had the start up chain rattle noise, but am unable to replicate it this week.
Love the truck, but it's harder on my nerves than my wife with an unlimited credit card in Vegas.

i wonder if we have reached the end of this forum? weve talked about everything under the sun in regards to the F150.
personally, ive got some great help a while back, but now all i see is dissension among the ranks.
time to move on and just enjoy the ride until ya trade it in for something you think will be better.
newsflash- there is nothing better... just shiny and smells better.

As I am fairly new to this Forum, and as some of you have noted about newbies, I have been enjoying learning from the veteran Forum members and I think I will continue to do so.
What got me here was a recent purchase of a 2014 F-150 Tremor and I have already gotten some good information by doing a lot of reading and a little bit of posting of my thoughts.
My last Ford truck was a 2003 F-150 Lightning (thus my handle flassh created years ago, as in flash of lightning). I do not know how long this Forum has been in existence, but back in 2003 and for the many years I kept that Lightning I would have been really happy to have an F-150 site to be able to go too for those many years.
So I hope to be an active member of this Forum for some time to come and will keep in mind the thoughts that started this particular thread.
