personally, ive got some great help a while back, but now all i see is dissension among the ranks.

time to move on and just enjoy the ride until ya trade it in for something you think will be better.

newsflash- there is nothing better... just shiny and smells better.
I have been feeling like the same.

I see your point, for those new to forums it can be somewhat of an overwhelming wonderland of information, photos and detail. But just like anything else it loses it's shininess and becomes a bit mundane. Oh sure there are those that will chime in on "every" tag that's created...too much time on their hands, unemployed, or just loquacious; whatever the case the information is usually already posted and you're getting opinionated views...and that's where the dissention starts since we don't all agree on everything and why should we, we're all different people.
Then there are those of us, who may be new to this forum, that have been in many forums over the years that realize the excitement is "short-lived" and the M&M jar will soon be empty.

We will be the new 04-08 section, once all are trucks start needing out of warranty repairs in our driveways.
Granted I still have 6 years of warranty, but this section is my daily read regardless of the content.

I've only had my new truck for 6 months. I learn a lot reading these posts. I think as people have owned their trucks for a while, they may get bored with sites like this and sooner or later, move on. Since Ford sells a new one every 43 seconds, I'm confident there will be a steady stream of nubes for quite some time, and they will relive all the drama and excitement of discovery over and over again.

There will always be guys coming in with new questions on old topics. They dont know how to use the search feature or they just dont care.

New products come out and people want to talk about them. Also, Breakdowns happen and people need to learn how to repair their trucks.

I'm an Admin of a forum about the size of this one for a car that had its run between 1982-1998 in the U.S. and it is still just as active now as it was 15 years ago when I joined and the cars had only been gone a few years.

The content will certainly change and be different over time for sure. People will figure out new tricks or find tips to fix this or that and then you will have the people who will still buy these as the years go on and not want or can't afford the new ones. There will be a lot less warranty discussions for sure but just as I've seen on the other forums I manage and work on, you never run out of content.

I am yet to find a thread on the best tool to use to get sand out of the center part of the tailgate when it gets in through the holes in the bottom...
