Default Hauling Package

I have the towing package and I will utilize that most of the time. I do not have the hauling package.
Is the additional rear leaf spring the only difference, or are there other upgrades that I need for the hauling package?

What towing to you plan to be doing?

First and foremost, get the Ford trailer brake controller. It fits better than generic stuff, and gives excellent control of electric brakes.

Option Code 627 is the 'heavy-duty payload package', it's intended mainly for big-*** slide-in campers, but obviously will give you the "goods" to haul some big payloads.

The truck came with factory trailer breaks.
I will pulling a big Scout trailer and my wife has a model T. The family will be going on T tours.
I have a 2010 Screw that is great. I have most of the options on the Payload package. I have the 20" wheels, 6 bolt lugs, trans cooler and a 5.4. I am thinking about adding the third leaf spring.
