Default has truck prices increased again?

Is it me or has the prices on the 2011's increased again. I realized there was an increase a couple months back. However i just built a couple of trucks on their site and seems like they are up a couple grand more than what they were!! So is it just me or is this what everyone else is seeing to?

yeah pretty sure. I built a fx4 ecoboost with only running boards added and the sticker was 41,815... I was thinking this same truck just a month or so ago stickered around 40,500. Maybe i'm off

Funny... Here I'm seeing 2011 1500 Silverado's for $11,999 and there is a big sale where if you buy a full size Dodge pickup, you get a car for free! That's right. Buy a Dodge 1500 or higher, and get a Jeep Compass or some other equivalent for FREE!

I just bought my '11 SCREW Platinum 5.0 a month ago, and although I have NO complaints, a free car is hard to pass up...

I wouldn't say demand is high. Ford F-150 sales are down considerably over years ago and the entire truck market is struggling in the wake of high gas prices. 2011 Lariat's went up from a base price of $39,615 to $40,000 about two months ago and FX4's went up similarly. There have been no price increase since then. It is not uncommon for Ford to raise prices on the F150 three or four times over the course of a year. This way, when they start handing out bigger rebates later in the year, they're really not loosing anything. You're just starting with a higher priced truck. The key is to find an older stock unit and apply the big rebates to it.

I saw a brand new 2011 4x4 regular cab F150 at my local dealer a couple days ago with a 3.7 engine with no options and the MSRP was a few $ more than my 2010 XLT Supercrew 2wd with $3600 worth of options.

THIS

About every 4 months or so, it's another $200-300 bucks higher......

If Ford wants to start selling more trucks, they need to bring out some more rebates.

And, this statistic has been driven by what?

The answer is: The new EB motor.
